Most of you have probably seen the Burj Al Arab; it’s the world’s most luxurious hotel and is noticeably shaped like the sail of a ship. Well, did you know that situated atop this glorious building is a tennis court?
That’s right: a tennis court that’s 1,000 feet high in the Dubai sky. And it’s a real court where you can play tennis matches as you enjoy the view over Dubai city. The tennis court was built on one of the hotel’s grass helipads to promote the tennis tournament Dubai Open. The first players to have a match on this court were former ATP number 1 Andre Agassi and Roger Federer.
