A camel’s kidney plays a part in helping the camel go for a long time without water: it concentrates the urine—some camel urine could be as thick as honey.
Camels Store Fat, Not Water . The fat stored in the humps of camels is used as an energy reserve. Water is stored throughout their bodies, predominantly in their bloodstream, which makes them very good at avoiding dehydration.

Because a camel is adapted to conserve water extremely well. One of the ways a camel conserves water is with his nose. His nose extracts moisture from the air he exhales.
